Our Story
From the very start, Olsen Butchers has been a family owned and operated business. Founded in 1989 by Collin and Karen Olsen in Kelmscott, Western Australia, our butcher shop quickly outgrew its first location both in size and family members.
Great local butcher. I go here for all my weekly protein needs and it certainly meats all expectations! I've been trying to reduce my waste so I go there with my own containers for the meat. They are always happy to fill them and I never feel judged. They also stock nice local honey, some fresh fish fillets and have also seen oxtail there. When I spend a lot at one time, they also give me a big canvas bag for free which is a nice bonus too. Glad to have this place nearby home.
Brilliant butchers. We are very lucky to have it nearby. Wonderful meats and plenty of extremely well prepared ready to cook dishes. Our favourites are the salmon, chicken capriese, beef in red wine parcel and the gluten free chicken schnitzel. Delicious.
Is this the best butcher shop in the world, has to be the best in Perth anyway. From the moment you walk in you will see and smell what I’m saying. The Steak you buy at Olsens is just better than anywhere else I’ve been. Also you will experience, ‘old school’ good service, it’s like in Butchers shops years ago, that style. Also some associated products like the best olive oil ever etc for sale too.
